In History we have been learning about Ancient China.  As well as studying Chinese history we also learned about some Chinese culture and traditions.  We decided to try our hand at using chopsticks with the "Chopstick Challenge".  It was great fun!

Well done to all the children from 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th who took part in the Cross Country running competition in Swinford today.  A special well done to David Delaney (3rd Class) and the senior girls team, Aoibhín Lynskey, Emma Colleran, Roisín Lynskey, Émer Delaney, Caoimhe Delaney and Geri- Maye Henry who qualified for the next round of the competition.  We wish them all the best!

Mayo Clay Figures

We used clay to make models of some of our Mayo footballers.  We then painted them in county colours.  It wasn't as easy as it looked but we were pleased with the final results! Maigh Eo Abú!

Visit from poet Terry McDonagh

On Wednesday we had a visit from poet Terry McDonagh.  He did a writing workshop with us and read us some of his poetry, we really enjoyed his visit!
